The Kogi State Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), cum Cheif Imam Ajobe, Sheikh Zakariyau Salihu has urged Muslim ummah to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness, and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Sheikh Zakariyau made the call on Saturday during a sermon session at JIBWIS Eid ground, Ajobe.
He also charged the muslim ummah to continue to abide by the lessons of Eid-il Adha by always showing a willingness to follow the commandment of Allah Subhanahu Wata’alah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim AS.
According to him, “Ibrahim was ready to use his son as a sacrifice as commanded by Allah before Allah SWT sent down ram in place of his son and what is telling us is that when you sacrifice what you love for the sake of Almighty Allah He is going replace it with something bigger and better.
“There is no reward for goodness except goodness, “Wama Jaza’ul Ilhsan Illal Ihsan,” he said.
