The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is gearing up to investigate former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and key officials from his administration over allegations of N423 billion in misappropriations.

Sources reveal that El-Rufai will be among those summoned by EFCC investigators.

The probe extends to former Finance commissioners who served between May 29, 2015, and May 29, 2023. Additionally, all accountant generals from El-Rufai’s eight-year tenure and chairpersons of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) from 2018 to 2023 will be questioned.
