In anticipation of the upcoming primary election, the People’s Democrat Party (PDP) has pledged to ensure transparency, fairness, and credibility throughout the process.

Addressing the press at the state party headquarters, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, the party’s Chairman, affirmed that preparations for the primaries stand at 95% completion, with delegates already assembled in Benin for the event.

Preparations include the arrival of delegates in Benin City, where the primary election is set to take place.

Accreditation of the 594 delegates is scheduled to commence promptly at 8 am at Macain Hotel, formerly known as Edo Hotel.

Dedicated transportation services are arranged to ferry delegates from the accreditation venue to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, the primary election venue.

Aziegbemi highlighted the participation of ten aspirants in the primaries and urged delegates to exercise their voting rights judiciously, considering the profound impact the next Edo State Governor will have on future generations.
