This initiative, aimed at empowering both youths and retirees, underscores the church’s commitment to societal development and reducing unemployment.

The training covered diverse areas including bag making, cooking of local dishes, catering, fashion design, hair styling, web and graphic design, paint production, shoe making, poultry farming, solar installation, photography, and photo editing etc.

The church also empowered the beneficiaries with essential items such as sewing machines, washing machines, ovens, food supplies, and start-up funds to help them become self-reliant entrepreneurs.

Addressing attendees at the church’s skills acquisition headquarters in Abuja, Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche emphasized, “Christians should live their lives with the fear of God and represent Him practically in their daily endeavors.”

He encouraged the newly trained individuals to be blessings to others and uphold kingdom principles.

The Senior Pastor informed the gathering that the Church has given consideration for the establishment of *Vocational Skills Training Academy* , which will provide the avenue for youths to acquire the necessary skills in response to the present realities.

Bro. David Ozigi, the church welfare head and program’s coordinator, highlighted the dire economic inequalities in Nigeria.
He called for collective efforts to address poverty, which he linked to social unrest and economic stagnation.

Ozigi stressed, “Inequality leads to poor human capital formation and slower economic growth. We must address these issues to foster a thriving society.”
Further more, the Head of welfare department and program’s coordinator observed that the church already had some training facilities/equipment across various vocational trades, that are conducting the training for longer duration which will make more impact.

This initiative by Dunamis Church is a beacon of hope, demonstrating how religious institutions can play a pivotal role in economic empowerment and community development.
