The Onu Ankpa, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar has asked the people of the area to attract genuine development and not crises to the community in all areas.

The Monarch who dropped this message in Ankpa on Thursday at his palace during the donation of Education items to schools in Ankpa local government area, stating that this will reduce to the barest minimum the scourge of Out of school children OOSC in Nigeria.

He warned on the consequences of abandoning children to join bad wagon that will have multiplier effects on the society and the nation at large.

He commended the former Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC Dr Kashim Akor NPOM FNIM who is the son of Ankpa town, for affecting the community and it’s environs positively in all areas .

He urged the school administrators to use this gesture in contributing their own quota to the educational development of the area, stating that education remains the bedrock of any development.

Twenty seven schools benefited from Ankpa and Enjema districts as items donated included furnitures, books , computers and other educational materials to assist both public and private schools in Ankpa local government area.
