The Director General, National Productivity Center NPC and Otunba Gbeluniyi of llaro, Yewa land, Dr Kashim Akor has asked the people of Ogun State to re-elect Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun in the Saturday March 18 governorship election in the state.
Chief Kashim Akor dropped this admonition on Thursday stating that Ogun State had witnessed all round development in the last four years of his first term in office, under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC.
He says the human capital development, infrastructural breakthroughs, among many other reforms in the state had justified the need to return him for a second term in office.
“The commissioning of the new Ogun Agro and Cargo international airport in Ikenne, the first of it’s kind in Nigeria after many decades had placed the state above many others, and by extension will create more job opportunities, attract both local and international bodies into investing more in the state.” He said
“With the proximity of Ogun State to Lagos state, no doubt the influx of import/export based materials, revenue profile of the state will be improved beyond the concept of establishing the new airport.
He lauded the governor for opening up the nooks and crannies of the state through massive construction and reconstruction of roads, saying the movement of farms products meant for local consumption and exportation will be simplified.
“Governor Abiodun has relived the image of the country before the international communities with the establishment of a dedicated agro and cargo international airport that will promote tripartite and multilateral discussions and transactions with the developing and developed countries, therefore exposing Ogun State among the comity of states in Nigeria and the country at large.”
He urged the people to ensure his reelection , so as to continue the good works he started in the last four years of the administration.
