The Director General, Mining Cadestre, Engr. Obadiah Nkom, has enrolled 50 persons from Biniki, Bondon Ward of Kaura Local Area into the Kaduna State Contributory Health Insurance Scheme.
Bitrus Bannah, a former councilor who represented the Director General, said the decision to enrol the beneficiaries followed the challenges in the health sector, especially as they affect the grassroots.
According to him, health is wealth and the provision of effective healthcare would enable them to be proactive in there eberyday’s activities.
He urged capable hands in Southern Kaduna to make the health of the people a priority by enrolling them into the State’s health Scheme which aims at universal health coverage for quality, affordable and accessible health care services.
The Director-General of the Kaduna Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA), Jubril Hassan congratulated the beneficiaries and charge others to emulate Engr Obadiah Simon Nkom to enroll the less privileged.
Also, in his part, the Executive Director Kaduna Inland Revenue Service, Jerry Adams, said the Director General has been consistent in giving back to his community, before now he has distributed tons of fertilisers to his community and the whole of Asholio land .
Elanza News reports that the renowned Mining Engineer has also giving educational scholarship to so many less privileged in his community and has promised to do more going forward.
