The efforts of Omolola Oloworaran, The Director General, National Pension Commission PENCOM to reposition the commission for better service delivery in line with the welfare of pensioners and retirees across the country remained undeterred, towards providing the desired benefits after service.

This has led to the reactivation, reinvigoration and rejuvenation of the Contributory Pension Scheme’ CPS, that served as benefits after retirement of both in the private and public sector beneficiaries.

One year down the line, Oloworaran has devised and roll out series of reforms, programs and transformation towards attaining the standard benefits accrued to the retirees.

The reforms has led to the positive development in the area of monitoring, enforcing and regulations guiding the operation of Contributory Pension Scheme’ CPS in the country.

On assumption of duty , Omolola Oloworaran has reviewed from time time retirees and pensioners benefits and also checkmated the operations of Pension Fund Administrators, PFA towards rewarding after service period of Nigeria workers.

The chunk of funds been injected to the benefits of retirees and pensioners in Nigeria has resulted in multiplier effect and benefits to the affected ones .

The recent injection of over 2.6 Billion (Two billion naira) to the monthly payments of pensioners has become a recurring decimals and putting a smile on the faces of retirees.

No doubt , retirees in Nigeria daily and from time to time smile to their Banks after been alerted with the new increment on their benefits, after payment by various pension fund administrators, PFAs.

The positive development under Omolola Oloworaran has reduced to the barest minimum the sufferings been undergone by retirees who daily continue to wait to access their benefits.

Conversely, the introduction of ‘Pension Boost 1.0′ by the leadership of pension commission, PENCOM has begin to pay off as direct benefits to retirees in line with the new order .

With the newly introduced program ,the benefits of pensioners will from time to time continue to increase the monthly take home of pensioners, under the Contributory Pension Scheme’ CPS in all sectors .

The novel achievements of the current management under Oloworaran when sustained will relieve the retirees in all areas of their inconveniences and create more activities.
