A youth forum in Zamfara State has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Alhaji Yazid Danfulani to a prominent position in the federal administration, citing his exceptional contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the state’s development.

In a statement on Wednesday, the group’s spokesperson, Muhammad Yakubu Tsape, described Danfulani as ‘strong’ APC in Zamfara, whose efforts have significantly impacted education, healthcare, and access to clean water in the state.

He noted that the Zamfara politician led a one-million-man solidarity march in support of the President but remains unacknowledged.

“Over the years, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to the development of our youths by providing scholarships that have funded their education from primary school through university,” Tsape said.

Danfulani has also been credited with improving healthcare access in the state through initiatives that have enhanced the well-being of many citizens.

Additionally, his borehole projects have provided clean water to underserved communities, alleviating long-standing challenges in the region.

Despite these contributions, Tsape lamented that Danfulani has not been recognized with an appointment in Tinubu’s administration.

The group expressed confidence in Danfulani’s ability to contribute significantly to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, urging the President to reward his unwavering loyalty and dedication to the APC’s ideals.

“His integrity, dedication, and proven track record in service to the people of Zamfara make him an invaluable asset,” Tsape said, adding that the appointment would motivate others committed to nation-building.

The youth forum emphasized the importance of appointing individuals with strong grassroots connections and experience in addressing community needs, stressing that Danfulani fits these criteria.

“We trust that President Tinubu will continue to listen to the voices of his supporters and reward deserving individuals like Alhaji Yazid Danfulani,” the statement concluded.
