In an interview at the 9th edition of the Golf and Tour group tournament in Kaduna, General Musa highlights the unifying power of sports, particularly golf.

General Musa, who is also participating in the tournament as a golfer, expresses optimism about his chances of winning. When asked about his expectations, he states, “Everybody that competes wants to win, but the joy of it all is that we are all united as Nigerians with the same unity of purpose in what we do.”

He emphasizes the role of sports, especially golf, in uniting people from different professions and regions of the country. General Musa believes that unity is crucial for success in any endeavor.

The golf and tour group tournament, which began on June 21, 2024, at the Kaduna Golf Club and the Wuyep Lakeside Golf Club Air Force Base, has attracted over 150 amateur golfers. The participants include retired military and security officers, lawyers, civil servants, business men and women, and other professionals.

Dignitaries present at the ceremonial tee off include the Chief of Defence Intelligence (CDI), Major General Emmanuel Parker Undiandeye, the leader of the Golf and Tour group, Air Vice Marshal Clement A. Aroriode (Rtd), and representatives from the Kaduna State Government.
