In a remarkable turn of events, a British national, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, has survived the horrific Air India plane crash that resulted in the loss of over 200 lives in Ahmedabad, India. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was bound for London’s Gatwick Airport when it tragically went down shortly after take-off, bursting into flames.

As reported by Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik, Ramesh, seated in 11A, is receiving medical attention for injuries to his chest, eyes, and feet. “Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a deafening sound and then the plane plummeted. It all unfolded so rapidly,” Ramesh shared with Indian media, reflecting on the terrifying experience.
