Bright Morgan, the former BBNaija season 10 housemate, has confirmed the rumours that his girlfriend actively campaigned for his eviction from the reality show.

In a post-eviction interview, the reality star was asked about speculation that his partner had visited the show’s headquarters to demand his release.

While clarifying that she did not appear in person as she was out of the country, he confirmed the core of the story: she repeatedly called the organisers to request his eviction.

“She did not come, but she called. So the organisers had to confirm with my family members, like my brother, because I dropped my family members’ numbers. So they contacted my brother, and they were like is this really true?” he said.

“They said no, nothing like that and that if I had a problem, I would voluntarily exit the show. She was not here in Nigeria, but she placed calls.”

Morgan was sent packing from the reality show in a surprise eviction on Saturday night alongside Thelma Lawson.

The BBNaija season 10 edition kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony. The female housemates were unveiled first on July 26.

The male contestants were ushered into the show on July 27, making it a total of 29 housemates.

So far, 16 housemates have been voted out of the reality show. The remaining 13 contestants will slug it out to take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.

The season is expected to wrap up on October 5.
