BAUCHI – Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), alongside loyalists of the faction led by Tanimu Turaki.
The governor announced his defection on Saturday at the Bauchi Government House, standing beside the National Chairman of the APM, Yusuf Dantalle. The decision followed an expanded stakeholders’ meeting held behind closed doors.
Until his departure, Mohammed served as chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
