Borno: Zulum’s media adviser, others sworn in

Borno State Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, has supervised the swearing-in of the newly appointed Alhaji Dauda Iliya, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum.

The event which took place at the deputy governor’s conference hall on Monday, also witnessed the swearing-in of other appointees, including Alh Hassan Zanna Boguma, Ali Umar Bolori, Hon Abatcha Ma’aji and Bukar Lawan Ngamdu.

The oath of office was administered by the Chief Judge of Borno, Kashim Zannah, represented by Justice Umar Bukar Malgwi.

Borno State Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur in an handshake with Alhaji Dauda Iliya, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum.

While addressing the appointees, Kadafur urged them to be committed to their duties and contribute to the realisation of Borno’s 25-year Development Plan and 10-year Strategic Transformation Plan of Governor Zulum’s administration.

Speaking on behalf of other appointees, Alh Dauda Iliya assured the deputy governor that they will justify the confidence reposed on them.

The event was attended by the Secretary to Borno State Government, Alhaji Bukar Tijani, head of service, Barrister Mallam Fannami, Commissioners, Special Advisers, senior government officials, associates and family members of the appointees.
