In a devastating incident, an immense fire erupted in a warehouse within the towering 14-storey Mandilas Building located on Broad Street, Lagos Island.

The catastrophic blaze, commencing on the first floor, swiftly spread to the fourth floor, resulting in the destruction of goods valued at multi-million.

Director Margaret Adeseye of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service reported the origin of the fire on the first floor, highlighting its relentless progression to the fourth floor.

Despite the challenges, the fire-fighting operation persisted into the evening.
