In a startling revelation, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, unveiled that former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, authorised the withdrawal of $720,000 from the state’s coffers to prepay his child’s foreign education expenses.

Expressing his commitment to national progress, Olukoyede condemned the misuse of public funds, highlighting Bello’s audacious move to transfer state funds directly to a Bureau De Change for his child’s educational expenses overseas.
