The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has defeated the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi in Bayelsa.
The State Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Prof Lilian Salami, while announcing the result in Yenagoa on Monday, said Atiku polled a total number of 68818 votes to defeat Peter Obi of Labour Party, who scored 49975 votes to come second.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC scored 42572 votes to come third in the state.
