The Bayelsa, Rivers Akwa Ibom and Cross River State (BRAC) Coastal Aborigines have backed their freedom fighter, Asari Dokubo over his comment on the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
According to BRAC, Dokubo didn’t say anything wrong on Nnamdi Kanu and warned people calling for his arrest to desist from such wishful thinking.
A statement issued by the General Coordinator BRAC Coastal Aborigines, Doris Mcdaniels, said they were the only group that saw the dangers posed by the Nnamdi Kanu hate speeches that has now brought the southeast region to a standstill.
“The people calling for Asari’s arrest, why didn’t they do the same to Nnamdi Kanu when he was promoting terrorism via his radio biafra? Calling Buhari to be Jibril of Sudan. Gullible, so-called educated people believed in Nnamdi Kanu’s propaganda.
“He was making derogatory comments on Hausa-Fulanis, calling them Goats, using his biafra radio specifically to create disaffection with his hate speech, which led to the killings of a lot of Fulani/Hausas and security personnel in the South East.
“During EndSars, he instigated IPOB to attack Tinubu properties, kill security personnel on sighting, destroy Police stations, etc. His wish was for IPOB members to command like zombies.
“Asari has not ordered any killing.
He only made a statement on self defence, against brutal people who are known cannibals, killing and roasting their own kinsmen for dinner.
“They are dreaded among their kinsmen but Asari is an Ijaw man who fears no foe, ” she said.
According to BRAC, if Dokubo has to act in self-defense, he has not done anything wrong for him to be dragged out.
“Where were they, when Nnamdi Kanu was carrying out his nefarious activities? Surprisingly, Igbo elders and Traditional Rulers, Governors and political leaders of the South East and the South-South, were mute on calling Nnandi Kanu to order.
“The moment he was arrested, they could call for his release, forgetting the amount of blood he had spilled. All the ongoing killings with the unknown gunmen, IPOB, etc. were instructions by him.
“It is on record that BRAC (Bayelsa, Rivers Akwa Ibom and Cross River State) Coastal Aborigines was the only lone voice that condemned his acts and denounced his devilish acts, and separated the BRAC states from the political Ojukwu biafra republic, in a press briefing we held in March 2021, which former President Buhari heard our stand and made the famous “Dot-in-a-circle comment because he heard us not being part of their recession.
“On the 27th of April 2021, BRAC Coastal Aborigines, also wrote a letter to the former UK PM Boris Johnson under the care of the British High commision, to have Kanu British citizenship revoked sighting the case of Shamima Begum, a-15- year-old British Born terrorist whose citizen was revoked for ISIS terrorist member in Syria.
“We also gave them an option to choose between Nnamdi Kanu and their investments in the oil and gas sectors in the BRAC states.
“Asari never lied in what he said. Where were some people in the 17th century trans Atlantic slave trade? Where were they in the 18th century palm produce business in the West african Coastal Trade Hub? the group asked.
