Army Chief Commissions Special Intervention CIMIC Projects at Communities in Bauchi State

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, in his bid to consolidate on the existing relationship between the Nigerian Army and the general populace embarks on Special Intervention CIMIC Projects (CSIMCP) through senior officers of the rank of Major Generals to create a wide reach to communities across the nation.

COAS was in Bauchi on 01 March 2023 to commission 3 of such projects executed by Maj Gen GB Audu a health centre at Nyamrat, Block of 2 classrooms, office and stores at Luda and Busala communities all in Nyamrat Chiefdom of Bauchi State.

Represented by the Commander Armoured Corps, Maj Gen MS Ahmed, the COAS expressed great delight at the impact these projects will have on the well-being of the general populace in these areas and commended Maj Gen GB Audu for the efforts put in to actualize the projects.

The recipients of the projects, the host communities could not contain their joy for the kind gesture of the COAS.

Speaking through their respective community leaders, they gave their commitments to ensure the facilities will be used for the betterment of their populace and also resolved to keep them well maintained and functional.
