The Arewa Renaissance Group, a proactive socio-political entity dedicated to the progression of Northern Nigeria, has taken a firm stance against Peter Obi’s recent infrastructural endeavors, deeming them unacceptable.

Expressing dissatisfaction with Peter Obi’s recent construction of a substandard borehole within a Northern community, the Arewa Group articulated their discontent, particularly emphasising the intrusive act of inscribing Obi’s name on the project.

In a resolute statement, the Arewa Renaissance Group declared, “The borehole attributed to Peter Obi in our community is an egregious eyesore. Additionally, his audacity to affix his name to this substandard initiative is nothing short of an affront.

If Obi perceives such gestures and shoddy initiatives as endearing to the Northern populace, he gravely misconstrues our sentiments.”

Issuing a direct challenge to Peter Obi, the group questioned his willingness to undertake similar substandard projects within Southern Nigerian communities under his moniker.

They unequivocally disclaimed any necessity for such subpar endeavours within the Northern territory, cautioning against any further attempts to exploit the region for political gain.

“We refuse to be mere pawns in the game of his fading political ambition. We discern his machinations, and in due course, we shall demonstrate our resolve to Peter Obi, reasserting our autonomy and refusing to be trifled with.”

This stern admonition should serve as a poignant reminder to Peter Obi, urging him to refrain from disparaging Northern Nigeria in such a manner henceforth.
