The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, calling on the faithful to embrace the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and compassion demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim’s total submission to Allah.

In a statement marking the Festival of Sacrifice, the party described the occasion as a moment for sober reflection, devotion, and spiritual renewal—qualities essential for building a just and orderly society.

APM urged Nigerians to use the celebration to pray for the nation, particularly during the current electoral season, reminding politicians that power belongs to Allah alone, who grants it to whomever He wills. The party therefore appealed to political actors to shun violence and electoral malpractices, stressing the need to uphold the sanctity of the ballot box.

The party also called on all levels of government to prioritise the welfare of citizens, noting that Nigerians desire and deserve good governance. According to the APM, the people’s interest must always supersede partisan politics—a principle the party says is embedded in its “People First” ideology, already being implemented in Bauchi and Oyo States, where it holds power.

Describing itself as Nigeria’s fastest-growing political party, the APM reaffirmed its commitment to placing sovereignty in the hands of the people. It declared readiness to “reset Nigeria” through the ongoing Great Alliance ahead of the 2027 general election.

The party urged citizens to set aside political differences and join the PDP–APM Alliance, which it said would foster national security, unity, equity, inclusivity, and shared prosperity.

“Join APM to reset Nigeria for a brighter future,” the party said. “This is our chance to make it happen.”
