Accolades As Billionaire Businessman, Dozy Mmobuosi Celebrates Birthday In London

Renowned entrepreneur and businessman, Dozy Mmobuosi has marked his birthday amidst loads of felicitations from friends, associates and well wishers.

The global businessman and founder Tingo Incorporation, founder of Tingo Foods Ltd, Tingo Airlines, Tingo Mobile, Tingo Media and more was sighted in his London home in celebratory mood with invited friends to mark the big day 7th April.

He has received goodwill messages from friends and family, as well as associates across the globe.

One of such felicitations came from an award winning PR and media consultant, MD Amity Global, Amb. Alex Nwankwo who described Mmobuosi as a perfect specimen of good heart, hard work resilience and philanthropy.

Amb. Nwankwo praised Mmobuosi for his uncommon milk of kindness which he has used to touch lives across the country with his long list of humanitarian interventions.

“No doubt a perfect specimen of good heart, Mmobuosi is a reflection of how resilient, committed and forward-looking a typical Nigerian youth can be.

“He has carved a niche of honour for himself through his business interests dotted across Nigeria and beyond. He has provided decent means of livelihood with the increasing number of young people in his employ.

“He has lifted burdens, brought smile in the faces of our people, revived dreams and made visions come through”, he said.

Amb. Nwankwo also prayed God to give Mmobuosi long life, sound health and more fulfilment in his business endeavors.

Mmobuosi, a tech entrepreneur, youth advocate and football enthusiast is at the verge of purchasing an English football club, Sheffield United FC.

He recently launched a multi billion Naira food processing company in Onichu Igbo, Delta state.

His non-governmental organisation, The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation has also done so much in the area of free health care service like mobile prostrate cancer screening, scholarship, skills acquisition and more.

Davido Reveals Date for White Wedding with Chioma

Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has officially disclosed the date for his White Wedding with his spouse, Chioma Rowland-Adeleke.

This announcement comes ten months following their glamorous traditional wedding, which took place in Lagos.

ELANZANEWS recalls that their opulent traditional ceremony was celebrated with great fanfare in June 2024 at Eko Hotels, Lagos.

In a recent interview with Breakfast Club, Davido shared that the eagerly awaited White Wedding is scheduled for August 2025.

“I’m hosting my White Wedding in Miami this August,” he revealed.

“Our traditional marriage made headlines across Nigeria because our relationship has been highly publicized, and we’ve faced many challenges, including the loss of our child,” Davido added.

Nollywood actress decries new criteria of landing roles in films

Nollywood Actress Jemima Osunde has condemned the act of pressurising actors to become an active social media content creators as a criteria for landing roles in films.

Osunde, who took to her social media platforms in a video clip to voice her frustration over the industry’s shift, said their aim of forcing actors to become online content creators was to promote their work.

According to her, acting should be based on talent and performance, but not forcing someone to be a social media online content creators.

The actress noted that Hollywood star Keanu Reeves had continued to thrive in the industry based solely on his craft, in spite of his minimal social media presence.

“Now they are forcing actors to be social media content creators. It is now like, ‘You see that dance? You must dance on the internet.’ Why?.

“It is like they are forcing everyone; so if you are not an actor with a social media presence, you are not going to be cast because you need to sell the film.

“That should not be my job! Like, how many times do you see Keanu Reeves when he is not on your screen as an actor?,” she wrote.

Osunde is a Nigerian actress, model, and presenter, who gained exposure after playing Leila in the television series ‘Shuga’.

She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 15th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in ‘ The Delivery Boy’ (2018).

The actress recently debunked the rumour of undergoing a BBL surgery, where she clearly stated her personality and advocacy for natural beauty.

‘Labake Olododo’ tops Nigerian box office with N50.4m

‘Labake Olododo,’ a movie by Alice Iyabo Ojo, has topped the Nigerian box office, grossing N50.4 million over the weekend following its release.

FilmOne Entertainment, the distributing company, shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday.

They revealed that the film marked the second biggest opening weekend for a Nollywood release in 2025.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Labake Olododo tells the inspiring story of a courageous woman who rises against oppression in her community.(NAN)
