This revelation comes in response to allegations of forgery raised by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The controversy surrounding Atiku Abubakar’s WAEC certificate has raised numerous questions.

The former Vice President, however, has provided a comprehensive explanation for this apparent inconsistency.

The Sadiq Abubakar Revelation
Atiku Abubakar revealed that he used the name Sadiq Abubakar when sitting for his WAEC exams.

After successfully passing his exams, he took a crucial step to rectify the situation.

Atiku Abubakar swore an affidavit affirming that he is the same person as ATIKU Abubakar.

This legal declaration effectively linked the two names, making it clear that Sadiq Abubakar and ATIKU Abubakar are one and the same.

The former Vice President emphasized that this practice of using both names continued in his educational and professional journey.

Atiku Abubakar attended Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) as Atiku Abubakar, where he excelled in his studies.

He was interviewed by the Federal Civil Service Commission and hired into the Customs Service, all under the name Atiku Abubakar.

This consistent use of his name throughout various stages of life further validates the authenticity of his records.
