Former Governor of Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige, made a dramatic entrance at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus meeting, just hours after being released from Kuje prison.
Senator Ngige, who previously served as the Minister of Labour and Employment, had recently been detained in Kuje prison due to corruption allegations brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was granted bail earlier on Thursday and successfully met the bail conditions.
Upon arriving at the State House Conference Centre after the president, Ngige faced a brief delay as security personnel checked his credentials before allowing him to join the gathering.
His arrival was met with cheers from several presidential aides.
