DBN; Beyond Trillions to MSME’s

The recent revelations by American investigator Mike Arnold, who compared Reno Omokri to Nigeria’s Joseph Goebbels—an expert in propaganda for the highest bidder—did not surprise many Nigerians. Those familiar with Omokri’s extensive history of deceit and opportunism can only respond with a weary acknowledgment.

What is particularly disheartening is Omokri’s attempt to dismiss Arnold’s findings as the work of a “foreign puppet.” This is the same individual who previously advocated publicly for the protection of Christians in Northern Nigeria, yet now chooses to downplay the ongoing genocide against Christians, a stain on our nation’s conscience.

Over the years, Reno Omokri has changed his political allegiances more frequently than the seasons. He once championed Atiku Abubakar but later endorsed Peter Obi, calling him the most credible candidate. Following Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory, Omokri quickly altered his stance, resorting to insults, disseminating propaganda, and seeking relevance like a desperate canary in search of sustenance.

His record of political inconsistency is not only embarrassing; it reveals a man whose loyalty is determined solely by financial gain. Mike Arnold’s assertion that “Nigeria is facing a calculated genocide against Christians” should alarm every conscientious Nigerian. The evidence of these atrocities—church burnings, targeted attacks, and forced displacements—cannot be denied or obscured by clever propaganda.

Each time those in power deny these horrors, they partake in the guilt of the blood that continues to be shed across our nation. If this administration cannot halt these systematic killings, the international community must intervene, or Nigerians must be empowered to defend their faith and lives. Nigeria is a secular state, and no religion should ever assert superiority over another.

The truth may be uncomfortable, but it is undeniable: the blood of the innocent will continue to cry out until justice is served. This situation transcends Mike Arnold; it is about the individuals who are killed daily and those who exploit their suffering for political gain.
