For Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, in the last ten consecutive years, between 2015-2025, she had been inundated with both national and global assignments at United Nations General Assembly UNGA in New York, coinciding with the commemoration of her annual birthday ,an indicator of her dedication both to humanity, communities and global engagement.
This was different from her roles at National and sub-nationals geared towards ameliorating critical issues of Education, Health, Empowerment, Social services/security, provision of water among many others.
All these had been her engagement over the decades towards the betterment of our communities, local government, state, and at the National level .
Driving towards the 80 session of United Nations General Assembly UNGA holding at the United States routinely in September of every year, was geared towards ameliorating the social, economic, political, social malaise bedeviling countries with Nigeria not in exception.
Conversant with the trend, her global roles and exposure had became a yearly routine that attracted succor and domesticate programs of Sustainable Development Goals SDGs in Nigeria.
These , she has been doing with passion , zeal, ability and courage to ensure the country is better for it in line with the realization of the 2020-2030 agenda.
Year in year out , The Senior Special Assistant to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, ensured arrangements for Nigeria’s participation at all levels and side line programs was noticeable and ensured it attract development to the country through the global body .
Aside the global engagement and attractions at the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs level , The Presidential aide had used her good position to attract both global interaction among many other global bodies, that had benefited the country in many ways.
This ranges from voluntary agencies and organisations of international reputation, local and foreign civil society organizations, as well as other voluntary global bodies to put Nigeria at the comity of countries with global attentions.
In the last two years, she has portrayed the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as promising, fulfilling and progressing before the international communities, a situation that had changed the domestic, economic and political situations in the country.
She had displayed without reservation the role of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the advancement of both Health and Education, the main stay of the country’s desiring stability, independent, viability in all areas .
This had won her international recognition having attained the basic level of deploying both Health and Education in Nigeria using SDGs as a launching pad to attaining the lofty goals.
Having achieved all these , she also delved into both secondary and tertiary health programs, through building of numerous hospitals, special centres, mother and children hospitals in Nigeria to resolve the age long maternal, antenatal, post natal problems in the country.
With her sacrifices, dedication to duty , and passion to ensuring public service and activities are carried out diligently spanned many decades , she stands out both globally before the international communities.
As she marked another memorable year in commemoration of her 66th birthday, 29th, September, we prayed that longevity and continuous service to humanity remained her bane.
