The funeral prayer (Janaiza) for former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will occur tomorrow in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, as announced by his aide, Bashir Ahmad.

The burial is set for 2:00 PM local time, in line with Islamic traditions.

Ahmad stated on social media, “The Janaiza of the late President Muhammadu Buhari will take place in his hometown, Daura, tomorrow at 2:00 PM. May Allah (SWT) have mercy on him.”

Buhari, who died on Sunday at the age of 82 in a London hospital, will be laid to rest in his family compound in Daura. The ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries from Nigeria and representatives from abroad, all coming to pay their final respects.
