The gesture which has been part of her administration’s ongoing dedication to improving the quality of life across underserved communities in Jaba LGA. The transformer installation is not only to lights up homes and businesses but also symbolises a brighter, more hopeful future for Sabon Gari’s residents.

Since elected last year as Chairperson of Jaba LGA, Hon. Ishaku has been consistently focused on rural electrification and infrastructural upgrades, championing policies that address the real needs of her people. Her decision to bring electricity back to Sabon Gari is more than a development project it’s a testament to her commitment to grassroots governance and long-term transformation.

While addressing the community during the official handover, Hon. Ishaku urged the residents of Sabon Gari to take ownership of the new infrastructure. She stressed the importance of maintaining the transformer and using electricity responsibly to ensure the project continues benefiting the community well into the future.

Hon. Ishaku didn’t just stop at delivering the transformer she also used the opportunity to encourage the community to unite behind the administration of Governor Uba Sani and support the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to her, such unity and alignment with state policies will fast-track future projects and attract more government interventions.

“We are truly grateful to Honourable Ishaku for her generosity and concern for our wellbeing. She has done what many before her only promised. May God bless her and protect her for the people of Jaba,” he concluded.
