Ikemba Front, a frontline political support structure within All Progressives Congress (APC), has described the National Chairman of the party, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje’s visit to Anambra as a confidence booster to the party.

National Coordinator of the group, Chief Arinzechukwu Awogu, stated this in Awka on Sunday while reacting to Ganduje’s visit to the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ganduje was in Awka, the Anambra capital, on Saturday to inaugurate the new APC state secretariat.

Awogu, while commending the APC national chairman for his visionary leadership, said his visit and his interaction with party stakeholders in the state was a morale booster.

According to him, with the visit, APC is now emboldened to win the governorship election scheduled for Nov. 8.

He said that the group remained resolute in its determination to work with APC and ensure that it emerged victorious, come Nov. 8.

Awogu also reiterated the group’s campaign that the existing zoning arrangement in the state should be respected in order to enhance the party’s winning chances.(NAN)
