New Kogi Commissioner of Police Seeks for Royal Blessings, Prayers during Visit to Atta Igala

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Kogi state, Miller Dantawaye on Wednesday visited Atta Igala, His Majesty Agabaidu (Dr) Mathew Alaji Opaluwa in his palace at Idah.

The visit along with the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 8 and his men was to solicit for Royal Blessings and prayers on assumption of duty in the state .

Dantawaye described igala kingdom as his second home having been birthed many years ago in the area.

While assuring the Royal father of safety of lives and properties, the new Commissioner of Police solicited for the cooperation and that of his subjects in the area of security.

Responding, Atta Igala, His Majesty Agabaidu (Dr) Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11 CFR congratulated the new Commissioner of Police on his appointment, stating that kogi is home coming, as his second home.

He promised to extend maximum cooperation and that of his subjects to ensure the success of his mission and vision of securing lives and properties.

Atta Igala wished the new Commissioner of Police, Assistant Inspector General of Police a successful tenure.
