The announcement was made by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, in a statement released on Friday in Enugu.

Onyia expressed, “The Enugu State Government is pleased to announce the first official visit by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Saturday, January 4, 2025.”

During his visit, the President will inaugurate a range of significant projects, including 30 fully completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of a total of 260 currently under construction across the state.

Additional projects set for inauguration include 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, also part of the 260 being built in each of the state’s wards, as well as the newly completed multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre.

Furthermore, the President will unveil 90 completed urban roads within Enugu City, a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, and 150 patrol vehicles that are equipped with AI-embedded surveillance systems.
