Hon. Rachael Averik, Special Assistant on Political Affairs to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has called on Christians to prioritize kindness and compassion during the Christmas season.
Averik, who is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Rachael Averik Foundation (RAF), emphasized the importance of supporting those facing challenges in her Christmas message on Wednesday.
“Today, as we embrace the joy of Christmas, let us also remember those who may be struggling,” she said.
“Whether it’s a neighbor in need or a friend facing hardships, let us extend our hands and hearts to uplift one another so that together, we can create a brighter future for everyone, especially the less privileged, orphans, the aged, and others in need.”
Reflecting on the year’s challenges, Averik highlighted the resilience and determination of Nigerians, stating that nothing is impossible with faith and hard work. She urged individuals to remain hopeful as the New Year approaches.
“The New Year is just seven days away, but I assure you, in these remaining seven days, anything is possible, including you achieving all that you’ve been praying for,” she said.
“But in case none of that comes your way, do not give up. With better timing, resilience, confidence, skills, and commitment, try again next year.”
Averik also extended her best wishes for the holiday season, expressing gratitude for the support she has received in her political and philanthropic endeavors.
“May this Christmas fill your homes with laughter, your hearts with love, and your lives with peace. And please, don’t forget to be kind to one another,” she said,
She concluded her message by thanking her supporters for their love and prayers, affirming her commitment to continued service through her foundation and political journey.
The Rachael Averik Foundation has been actively involved in various humanitarian initiatives, focusing on supporting vulnerable groups across Kaduna State.
