National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu has issued a stern warning to the North-Western terror group, Lakurawa, vowing their swift removal if they continue their violent acts. Ribadu assured that Nigeria, under President Tinubu’s leadership, will not tolerate terrorism.
In a bold move, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has put the newly-emerged Islamic sect in the North-West, known as Lakurawa, on notice, warning that their presence will not be tolerated.
Speaking at the opening of the Comptroller General of Customs Conference in Abuja, Ribadu emphasised that the Nigerian government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is fully prepared to eliminate any threat posed by terrorist groups.
His message was clear: those engaging in acts of terrorism are operating on borrowed time if they continue to threaten national security.
Ribadu’s statement comes at a time when Nigeria’s government is actively strengthening its stance on internal security, particularly against terrorist groups like Lakurawa, who have been linked to rising insecurity in the North-West.
According to Ribadu, “No one dares President Tinubu and escapes consequences.” His confidence is rooted in the administration’s determination to restore peace across the nation, ensuring that terrorist sects are driven out of the country.
