The Managing Director of Yingqi Auto Machinery Co. Ltd., Mr. Vincent Ke, has urged Nigerians not to discard their vehicle engines.

Yingqi Auto, a newly established company specializing in engine refurbishment, aims to offer Nigerian motorists an alternative to engine replacement, while fostering international cooperation and sustainable development.

Speaking at the company’s launch in Lagos, Mr. Ke promised to help extend the lifespan of vehicles through advanced technology.

Yingqi Auto will also provides new energy technology services, including natural gas engines, electric vehicles, and other cutting-edge solutions.

“Yingqi Auto Machinery is dedicated to solving industry challenges through innovation and improving people’s quality of life,” he said.

He also stressed the importance of cross-border collaboration and the significant role his company intends to play in Nigeria’s development.

With state-of-the-art machinery installed at the factory, including surface grinders, boring machines, and crankshaft grinders, the company is well-equipped to restore engines to optimal condition.

According to Mr. Ke, this initiative aligns with Nigeria’s green development policies, as Yingqi Auto plans to promote low-carbon technologies and contribute to the nation’s progress.

In his opening remarks, the Rector of Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Ibraheem Abdul, praised the potential collaboration between Yingqi Auto and Yaba College of Technology, noting the positive impact on talent development and research innovation.

Nike Davies-Okundaye, owner of Nike Art Gallery, also commended the initiative, highlighting its potential for job creation and technology transfer.
