In his Independence Day speech, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties many Nigerians are facing, including rising inflation, petrol prices, and insecurity.

“I am deeply aware of the struggles many of you face,” Tinubu said.

“As your president, I assure you we are committed to finding sustainable solutions to alleviate the suffering of our citizens. Please continue to exercise patience, as we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.”

Addressing Nigeria’s journey since independence, the president expressed pride in the country’s resilience despite numerous challenges, including a civil war.

He urged Nigerians to focus on the progress made, noting that Nigeria has remained strong and united where other nations have faltered.

Tinubu emphasized the importance of unity, diversity, and continued effort toward building a better future for all Nigerians.
