During the memorable Father’s Day gala, Chairman Compt. (Rtd) Sam Chinda Ijakirayu, PhD, FCIA, FSFN expressed gratitude to fathers as the pillars and guiding lights of families.

“Fathers are our unsung heroes who tirelessly provide, protect, and nurture,” remarked Mr. Ijakirayu.

The event brought together a distinguished audience of politicians, business leaders, journalists, and media personalities. They united in music, comedy, and dance to honor fathers and highlight their essential role in communities.

“We honor fathers not only for their roles in our families but also for the stability they bring to our communities,” said Queen Amina Musa, representing mothers within the Klub.

In addition to celebrating fathers, the gala marked the birthdays of Compt. (Rtd) Sam Chinda Ijakirayu, Patience Andepu, and Lemmy Ughegbe, all born in June. This reinforced the Klub’s commitment to family values and friendship.

The Klub’s spokesperson, Lemmy Ughegbe, emphasized the event’s significance in recognizing fathers’ pivotal role in society and fostering community bonds.

“This celebration underscores our commitment to acknowledging fathers’ pivotal role in society. It’s a moment to appreciate their contributions and strengthen community bonds,” said Ughegbe.

He assured attendees that the Father’s Day celebration would become a cherished tradition, fostering camaraderie and celebrating fatherhood across diverse backgrounds.
