In a heartwarming act of kindness, Hon. Daniel Amos, the representative for Jama’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, went above and beyond to support a Kaduna family in need. Mrs. Tinat Mathias Dorcas, a grateful mother, shared her story of how Hon. Amos stepped in to pay for her daughter’s medical bills, despite not personally knowing them.

When Mrs. Dorcas’s daughter’s health took a turn for the worse, she, along with her husband and a close friend, reached out to several politicians for assistance. Out of all the requests, it was Hon. Amos responded with compassion and urgency.

A meeting was arranged between the representative and Mrs. Dorcas’s friend, where Hon. Amos showed genuine concern for the situation. This empathy led him to take immediate action, generously covering the cost of her daughter’s transplant at the renowned Zenith Medical and Kidney Center in Abuja. The total amount paid by Hon. Amos amounted to a staggering 9 million Naira.

Prior to the surgery, Mrs. Dorcas’s daughter relied on a wheelchair for mobility. However, thanks to Hon. Amos’s intervention, the young girl has made tremendous progress and is now able to walk on her own.

Mrs. Dorcas expressed her heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Hon. Daniel Amos’s support came at a time when we needed it the most. He showed genuine care for our daughter’s well-being, and his generosity has transformed her life. We will forever be grateful for his kindness and compassion.”

Before the transplant, the young girl was confined to a wheelchair, unable to walk independently. However, following the successful surgery and the ongoing support from Hon. Amos, she has made remarkable progress. Today, she is able to walk on her own, showcasing the transformative impact of Hon. Amos’s intervention.
