President Bola Tinubu sent warm congratulations to Chief Arthur Christopher Mbanefo on his 94th birthday on Monday.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced the congratulatory message in Abuja.

Mbanefo, a prominent Nigerian elder statesman, is a former Permanent Representative to the United Nations and has served as Pro-Chancellor for the Universities of Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo, and Ahmadu Bello.

He holds fellowships with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

“President Tinubu salutes the accomplished accountant and administrator, describing him as ‘one of the finest stock and vintage class of Nigeria’s statesmen, set apart by integrity, hard work, and patriotism,’” said Ngelale.

The President also prayed for Mbanefo’s continued good health and many more years of service.
