In a compassionate gesture coinciding with Valentine’s celebrations, Livebridge Group, a prominent real estate company in Abuja, extended aid to over 1000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at the New Kuchingoro IDP camp situated in Kaura District, Abuja.

For over five consecutive years, Livebridge Group has dedicated itself to uplifting the less privileged in society, considering it an integral aspect of its social corporate responsibility.

During the event held on Wednesday, the compassionate staff members of Livebridge Properties and Investment Limited administered complimentary medical care to more than 1,000 residents of the camp.

The festivities included provisions of refreshments to children, adolescents, and the elderly, coupled with lively entertainment featuring hip hop and afrobeats music, courtesy of a dedicated DJ.

The health professionals provided by Livebridge Group conducted comprehensive health check-ups, diagnosing and treating prevalent ailments including malaria, typhoid, headaches, worms, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Serious conditions requiring advanced medical attention such as eye problems and surgical interventions were promptly referred to specialist facilities and general hospitals for further treatment.

Mr Nwaneri Obinna Flaker, the Group Managing Director/CEO of Livebridge Group, emphasized the imperative role of private organisations in complementing governmental efforts towards the welfare of IDPs.

He underscored Livebridge Group’s enduring commitment to supporting IDPs, acknowledging the urgent need for collaborative efforts to alleviate their plight.

Timipre Sheya, the Head of Admin/HR at Livebridge Group, highlighted the essence of Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to extend love and compassion unconditionally.

She reiterated Livebridge Group’s unwavering dedication to sharing resources with those in need, reaffirming their enduring commitment to social responsibility.

Charity Paul, a beneficiary and widow, expressed profound gratitude for Livebridge Group’s consistent support, acknowledging the organisation’s pivotal role in alleviating their struggles.

Other beneficiaries, including Hafsatu Usman and Blessing Amos, echoed similar sentiments, commending Livebridge Group for their steadfast support and compassion.

Livebridge Group endeavours exemplify the power of collective compassion and solidarity, underscoring the transformative impact of selfless acts of kindness on vulnerable communities.
