In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister Nyesom Wike has called upon area council chairmen to remain within their jurisdictions and foster community growth.

Wike underscores the significance of area council chairmen residing within their communities to facilitate grassroots progress.

Assuring continued collaboration between the FCT Administration and council chairmen, Wike pledges to revitalise abandoned projects across various area councils.

In line with President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, Wike reaffirms the commitment to rural infrastructural development, aiming to rejuvenate neglected communities.

Wike highlights the imperative role of addressing rural needs to ensure comprehensive governance success and alleviate disparities between urban and rural areas.

Encouraging active participation and investment in rural areas, Wike advocates for sustained efforts to uplift local communities and foster inclusive growth strategies.
