In response to the recent devastating assaults in Plateau, the Federal Government expresses heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and swiftly initiates the dispatch of humanitarian aid to the affected areas.

In a statement released by Alhaji Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, on Wednesday in Abuja, the Federal Government of Nigeria vehemently condemns the recent atrocities in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State.

The Federal Government recognizes the profound pain experienced by the victims and pledges increased collaboration with State Governments.

At the federal level, there is a concerted effort across security and intelligence agencies to enhance intelligence gathering and crisis-response capabilities.

The government is determined to tackle criminal activities boldly and decisively.
