Dr. Matawalle emphasized the exploration of new innovations and technologies in the fight against insecurity.

During his official 2-day tour of NEANY Company in the USA, discussions focused on establishing assembly lines for advanced military equipment production within Nigeria.

This collaboration is poised to bolster Nigeria’s armed forces capabilities significantly.

The Minister highlighted the invaluable learning opportunity this partnership provides, allowing Nigeria to adopt innovative methods in military hardware production.

NEANY, renowned for its leadership in military equipment manufacturing, offers a wealth of expertise that can enhance Nigeria’s ability to address contemporary security challenges effectively.

During the tour, Dr. Matawalle inspected state-of-the-art facilities, including the rapid deployment mobile RADAR system, unmanned water vehicle, drone ground control station, and compact biometric search-scan system, among others.

These cutting-edge technologies showcase NEANY’s commitment to providing high-tech solutions for military and intelligence purposes.

Expressing optimism, the Minister stated, “This tour marks a pivotal step in fostering collaboration and integrating cutting-edge military technologies to strengthen Nigeria’s defense capabilities.”

The ultimate goal is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of modernizing the armed forces to effectively tackle evolving security threats.
