In a pivotal move, the Committee of Chief Medical Directors of federal Tertiary Hospitals (CCMDFTH) extends its applause to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) leadership, led by Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, for their unwavering intervention in Nigeria’s primary, secondary, and tertiary health services.

During the recent inspection of an SDG-provided centre in Gwagwalada, a stronghold of progress during President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Professor Bissala Ekele, at the University of Abuja committee meeting, underscored the pivotal role played by the Endocrine Centre in the North Central region.

“We leverage the fully equipped centre to address both general and medical outpatient issues,” noted Professor Ekele, highlighting the widespread impact across the region’s hospitals.

Post-COVID-19 and emergency cases found resolution through the SDG-provided facilities.

The surprise intervention took the hospital by storm, as staff and SDG contractors collaborated to construct a centre, showcasing a commitment to citizen welfare beyond expectations.

In a collaborative effort, the SDGs’ intervention stands as a beacon of progress, offering comprehensive healthcare solutions and addressing critical medical challenges across Nigeria.

This transformative impact resonates not only in Gwagwalada but echoes throughout the nation, revolutionizing healthcare and fostering a healthier future for all.
