In the realm of Afrobeats Gospel Music, Dr. Broda Martyns emerges as a beacon, using his latest album, “Danger,” to spearhead a crucial campaign against drug addiction.

Broda Martyns, known as “Mushin Olosha,” draws inspiration from a divine instruction received late last year.

With over three decades in the industry, his debut album, “Mushin Olosha,” remains in high demand.

The new album, “Danger,” comprises eight tracks, each a poignant message against substance abuse.

Expressing concern for the youth, Broda Martyns crafts his message in seven Nigerian languages, including Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Igarra/Egbira, Pidgin English, regular English, and an altar call version.

This linguistic diversity amplifies the reach of his anti-drug narrative.

Despite having a single beat in eight versions, each rendition in “Danger” unveils a unique musical expression.

Broda Martyns’ artistic finesse shines as he addresses the dangers of addiction without condemning the individuals involved.

His approach reflects the immeasurable love of God.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP, Broda Martyns emphasizes that the album does not condemn addicts but issues a stern warning about the perils of substance abuse.

The overarching message is one of love and redemption, echoing the compassionate stance of Jesus towards sinners.

Anticipate the official release of “Danger” later this month in Lagos, under Broda Martyns’ record label, Most High Music.

This venture, as affirmed by the artist, is a testament to God’s grace.

Hailing from Igarra in Edo State, Dr. Akarutu-Balogun Broda Martyns boasts nearly four decades in Gospel Music Ministry and over 25 years in Pastoral Ministry.
