Former Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole, expressing gratitude for Obaseki’s invitation to the summit, emphasizes that friendship doesn’t preclude disagreement.

He asserts that divergent opinions can coexist while urging leaders to address challenges proactively rather than engaging in verbal conflicts.

Oshiomhole highlights the significance of unity for the greater good of Edo State.

He emphasizes the shared commitment of leaders, irrespective of party affiliations, towards the welfare of the citizens.

Oshiomhole posits that while the destination may be shared, the diverse routes to achieve it should not lead to hostilities.

Governor Obaseki, in his address, reflects on seven years of transformative governance.

With a focus on six thematic pillars, he outlines achievements in institutional reforms, economic revolution, social welfare, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and arts and culture.

Former governors Odigie-Oyegun and Igbinedion commend Obaseki’s visionary leadership, acknowledging the positive impact of bold reforms on Edo’s growth.

Their endorsements highlight the bipartisan recognition of Obaseki’s achievements.

The annual Alaghodaro Summit, a collaborative effort between the Edo Government and the private sector, serves as a platform to exhibit the state’s progress.
