Morocco Earthquake: Tinubu,Deputy Senate President Sympathize With King Of Morocco

In the wake of the recent catastrophic earthquake that struck central Morocco, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin, has expressed his heartfelt condolences alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaching out to King Mohammed VI of Morocco and the Moroccan Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Moha Ou Ali Tagma.

On Friday, a formidable earthquake, measuring a magnitude of 6.8, shook central Morocco, resulting in a devastating loss of over 2,000 lives and causing extensive damage in multiple regions, as reported by the BBC.

Senator Barau, through his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, conveyed his deep sympathy and prayers, invoking Allah SWT’s blessings for the departed souls and a swift recovery for those injured.

“I join His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in condoling King Mohammed VI of Morocco over the devastating earthquake in the country that led to the death of many people.”

“Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

We pray Allah SWT to grant all those who lost their lives Aljanatul Firdausi while wishing the injured quick recovery,” Senator Barau declared.

Additionally, the Deputy President of the Senate extended his condolences to the Moroccan Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Moha Ou Ali Tagma, offering his support and sympathy during this challenging time.
