The Senate President spoke when he joined other dignitaries to commission and hand over projects in the FCT Senatorial District executed by Aduda.

The projects include, Global Suites/Sabon Gari Road – 4km road in Bwari area council; Nyanya Township Road, Karu Town hall in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and Shadadi road in Kuje Area Council.

Lawan, who was represented by Senator representing Kaduna South and Senate Minority Whip, Danjuma La’ah, urged the Abuja community and other people in the town to give the corporation and to continue to vote for Aduda in time without numbers.

Besides, Senator Lawan eulogized the leadership capacity of minority leader Aduda adding that the remarkable projects are up to the standard.

According to Lawan, Senator Philip Aduda is one of those that bring unity amongst people irrespective of tribes and religions adding that it is the reason the FCT is a place that unites the people.

He noted that Some people are only going to the Senate to eat meals while others are there to work for their communities.

“We love you and we will continue to love you. You are a trailblazer and you have been doing things very well. Please continue to respect him, cooperate with him and give him all that he wants to change what Abuja is supposed to be like.

“Henceforth, you should know who worked for you, don’t just pick anybody that you see that is a politician. It’s not about anybody that wants to be a Senator.

“I’m saying this without fear of favour and I want everybody to know that the national assembly is not a child’s play . If you go there, you are going to work mainly for your community and not for your pocket.

“Honestly we are going to miss ourselves at the national assembly and I want to put a message before you all that being a senator is not for fun or child play. A Senator you elect is supposed to come and work for you and for the community and not just to come and give you money”, the Senate President representative, Danjuma La’ah said.

Also speaking, the engineer that handles the project, Yakubu Usman, charged the Area Council Chairmen to make use of the projects judiciously adding that residents have started dumping refuse into the drainages.
