City are now champions with three games left for them to play, while Arsenal have only one game left.

Nigeria’s Taiwo Awoniyi dealt a blow and ended Arsenal’s title challenge as he scored the only goal of the match on 19 minutes.

Awoniyi received a killer pass, found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and drilled the ball into the bottom left corner for a magnificent finish.

City will play Chelsea on Sunday without pressure as they have already won the league.
