Nkom who spoke to newsmen on Tuesday in his home town, Biniki in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, expressed satisfaction with the conduct and process by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He also commended the enthusiasm of the people which was exhibited through their large turnout.

” The large turn out according to reports i received, signifies the willingness of the people to vote in leaders that’ll continue to provide better welfare and entrench true democratic dividends.

” The people must remained calm, noting after any election their must be a winner and a loser and the outcome must not seperate us from each other.

” The main objective of an election was to have a very free, fair outcome without any rancour.

He urged the masses to continue to preserve peace and stability to consolidate democracy and the rule of law, especially in a challenging socio-political context. And as leaders, we will continue to do our best to ensure peaceful coexistence for the economic development of our communities and the nation at large.
