The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has reappointed Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale as its National Chairman, along with a full slate of national officers, following its second national elective convention in Bauchi State.
The event, which combined the party’s annual general meeting, took place at the Rilwanu Sulaiman Centre in the state capital on Thursday. The newly constituted executive body comprises approximately 37 members across various offices.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, Chairman Dantale pledged to steer the party in alignment with the ‘Reset Agenda’ of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration as the 2027 general elections approach. He expressed deep concern over the hardships confronting Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora, vowing to prioritise development, human capital growth, and authentic youth empowerment initiatives.
Dantale underscored the significance of the party’s cassava symbol, asserting that it represents a commitment to holistic national progress—encompassing food security, agricultural transformation, and broader economic development.
A key highlight of the convention was the formal oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected executives as they assumed their respective roles.
